• Nose: dried figs, toasted sugar, dark chocolate
• Palate: molasses, caramelized banana, spiced butterscotch
• Finish: sweet vanilla, earthy oak, lingering sherry influence

Try it in a Rum Old Fashioned:

• 2 oz Mad River PX Rum
• 1/4 oz simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• orange twist for garnish

Muddle simple syrup with bitters in a glass, add rum and ice, stir gently. Garnish with an orange twist.
