Ararat Akhtamar 10 Year is a premium Armenian brandy, aged in select oak barrels to develop its rich and complex flavor. The brandy is named after the island of Akhtamar on Lake Van, a symbol of Armenian heritage.

• Nose: dried apricot, toasted nuts, vanilla
• Palate: dark chocolate, caramelized orange, spicy oak
• Finish: smooth oak, hints of smokiness, warm spice

Try it in a Ararat Old Fashioned:

• 50 ml Ararat Akhtamar 10 Year
• 1 sugar cube
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Orange twist for garnish

Muddle the sugar cube and bitters in a glass. Add the Ararat Akhtamar and ice, then stir gently. Garnish with an orange twist.
