• Palate: spiced apple, toasted coconut, sharp citrus zest
• Finish: lingering smoke, honeyed sweetness, dark chocolate

Try it in a Rob Roy:

• 2 oz Caol Ila 17 Year 2002
• 1 oz sweet vermouth
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir all ingredients with ice until well chilled, then strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a cherry.
